2. Information we collect
We collect business contact and shipment information that you give us, plus limited technical information collected automatically when you visit the site.
| Source | What we collect |
|---|---|
| Quote request form | Name, company, email, phone; pickup and delivery city, state/province and ZIP/postal code; pickup date; commodity, weight, equipment, hazmat and other shipment details; any notes you add |
| Calls, emails and texts | Your name, contact details, company and what you tell us about your freight |
| Carrier sign-up | Carrier onboarding runs on Highway, a third-party platform, under Highway's own privacy policy. We receive the carrier's company, authority, insurance and safety information from Highway to vet and pay carriers. |
| Automatically, when you visit | IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring site, approximate location (from IP) and the date and time of your visit, through cookies and similar tools (Section 5) |
| Spam protection | Google reCAPTCHA collects device and interaction data on our forms to tell people from bots |
We do not ask for, and you should not send through the website, payment card numbers, bank account details or government ID numbers.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to run our freight brokerage business and this website:
- Respond to quote requests and questions, and follow up with rates
- Arrange, track and invoice the shipments you book with us
- Vet, onboard and pay motor carriers
- Send business communications about your freight or our services. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time with the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.
- Understand how visitors use the site and improve it
- See which companies visit the site, so our sales team can follow up with businesses that may need freight services (Section 5)
- Measure our advertising, such as which ads lead to quote requests
- Protect the site from spam, fraud and abuse
- Meet legal, tax, insurance and regulatory obligations, and enforce our agreements
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. How we share information
We share personal information only as needed to move freight and run our business:
- Motor carriers and their drivers. To arrange your shipment, we share pickup and delivery contacts, addresses and shipment details with the carrier that hauls it.
- Customs brokers. For cross-border loads, we share shipment and contact details with the licensed customs broker handling the entry.
- Service providers and affiliates that support our operations, such as website hosting, analytics, communications, transportation management, carrier onboarding, accounting and administrative support. They may use the information only to provide those services to us, under contract.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect our rights, our customers, carriers or the public.
- Business transfers. If our business is sold, merged or reorganized, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We use Google Ads only to measure which ads lead to quote requests, not to build remarketing audiences. ZoomInfo, which provides our company-identification tool, also uses visit data under its own privacy policy, and that tool runs only if you accept optional cookies.
5. Cookies, analytics and your choices
We use a small number of cookies and similar tools. Essential ones keep the site and forms working; others are optional and run only with your consent.
| Tool | Purpose | Type |
|---|---|---|
| Webflow | Hosts the site and processes form submissions | Essential |
| Google reCAPTCHA | Blocks spam on our quote form | Essential |
| Google Maps (Contact page) | Shows our office location; Google may set cookies when the map loads | Functional |
| Google Analytics 4 | Counts visits and shows which pages people use | Analytics (optional) |
| Google Ads conversion tracking | Tells us which ads lead to quote requests; no remarketing | Advertising (optional) |
| ZoomInfo WebSights | Uses your IP address and cookies to identify the company you may work for, so our sales team can follow up with interested businesses | Marketing (optional) |
Your choices. You can accept or decline optional cookies in our cookie banner and change your mind later through the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or the button below. Optional cookies stay off until you accept them. You can also block cookies in your browser or use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on. We honor Global Privacy Control signals as an opt-out of optional tracking.
6. How long we keep information, and how we protect it
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the purposes in Section 3, or longer where the law requires.
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Quote requests that don't become shipments | 24 months from the last contact |
| Shipment records, bills of lading, invoices, carrier files | At least 3 years, as broker record-keeping rules require (49 CFR 371.3); we keep them for 7 years for tax, insurance and claims |
| Analytics data | 14 months (our Google Analytics setting) |
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards: access limited to staff who need it, password-protected and encrypted systems, and vendors bound by contract to protect your data. No system is completely secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will notify you and the regulators the law requires.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy
- Correct information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law
- Withdraw consent, including to optional cookies and marketing emails
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising (we do neither, Section 4)
- Not be treated differently for using these rights

We are based in the United States, and your information is stored and processed there. Our service providers and affiliates may also handle it in other countries. Wherever it is handled, local governments and courts may be able to access it under local law, and we use contracts and access controls to protect it.
